Product Overview: The Adtran TA908e 2nd Gen (4242908L1) is an IP business gateway that provides SIP gateway functionality for your network. The Adtran 908e 2nd generation gateway is a multi-function system that includes an IP router, built-in firewall, VPN functionality, and FXS ports for legacy analog/digital equipment support.

The Adtran 4242908L1 offers four T1, dual 10/100 Ethernet ports, 8 analog FXS interfaces for connecting analog/digital interfaces, and an integrated DSX-1 port. The Adtran 4242908L1 supports VoIP applications through Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The Adtran 908e 2nd Generation supports up to 48 simultaneous TDM to VoIP call conversions. The gateway supports T.38 sessions, with up to four in use simultaneously.
