Blonder Tongue BIDA 550‑30 Indoor Distribution Amplifier
Condition: New
Product Overview:
The Blonder Tongue BIDA-550-30 is a professional-grade broadband indoor distribution amplifier designed for CATV, SMATV, and MATV RF distribution systems that use a “cable drop” as the signal source. It provides approximately 30 dB of forward gain across a 47-550 MHz frequency range with hybrid push-pull circuitry for high output and low distortion. The amplifier includes front-panel gain and slope controls, back-matched -30 dB test ports for in-service signal monitoring, and mounting provisions for indoor rack or wall installations. For 2-way operation, optional field-installable diplexers and return amplifiers are used to provide either an active or passive 5-30 MHz return. Passive return configurations require only the diplexers, whereas active return requires the installation of both the diplexers and the amplifier.
Key Features:
-
Broadband indoor RF distribution amplifier, 47-550 MHz frequency range with 30 dB gain
-
Push-pull hybrid design for a strong forward signal with low distortion
-
Front panel gain and slope controls for signal optimization
-
Back-matched -30 dB input/output test ports for in-service verification
-
Field-configurable return path capability (passive or active, 5-30 MHz) with optional modules
