Constructed from a specialized HDPE polymer, TuffDuct is engineered for direct burial applications while delivering exceptional crush resistance and durability. The microduct features an ultra-low-friction, low-static DVC lining that improves fiber installation by allowing cables to be easily pulled, pushed, or blown through the duct. Designed for FTTH/FTTX networks and telecommunications infrastructure, the duct also includes a toneable copper-clad steel wire for locating purposes and a factory-installed pull cord to simplify installation. Its compact outer diameter makes it well-suited for slot trenching methods and other modern fiber deployment techniques.
