The FTTB-1218-L2W Series Two-Way Indoor Optical Node converts optical signals from the headend into a +44 dBmV RF output while simultaneously transmitting upstream cable-modem signals back to the headend over a dedicated return fiber. Designed to support modern DOCSIS 3.1 networks, the node offers multiple return-path frequency split options and a field-replaceable diplexer architecture, allowing operators to upgrade return bandwidth as network demands increase.

Housed in a compact aluminum die-cast enclosure for indoor installations, the FTTB-1218-L2W integrates an optical receiver with LCD status display, RF AGC, adjustable attenuation and slope controls, RF amplification, and a high-performance return-path optical transmitter. This makes it well-suited for FTTB, MDU, enterprise, and indoor broadband distribution environments.
